Lydoh answers immediately with your custom greeting, helps the caller request an appointment or get answers about your services, and texts your team the details. If a caller insists on a person, Lydoh can transfer the call to your line during business hours.
When you're closed, Lydoh opens with a 911 emergency reminder, then asks whether the matter is urgent or routine, the caller decides, and Lydoh never gives medical advice. Routine calls become morning messages. For urgent calls, Lydoh alerts your on-call provider and tells the patient they'll be called right back. If that provider doesn't answer, Lydoh moves to the next provider in your rotation, and if no one accepts, it texts your whole on-call team the callback details. Every attempt is logged as an audit trail.
Yes. Set a single on-call provider, a weekly round-robin rotation, or a day-of-week schedule, plus date overrides for holidays, vacations, and coverage swaps, which always take priority. Lydoh resolves who's on call in your practice's timezone at the moment each call comes in.
Through the Lydoh app for Android. When a patient asks to speak with the doctor after hours and it is not urgent, Lydoh takes the details and sends them to the doctor's phone as a push. The doctor reads the brief, taps Call back, and Lydoh rings their phone first, then connects the patient with the practice number as the caller ID. Their own number is never shown. When it is done, they close the request with a note for the morning team. Urgent calls still go through the on-call escalation, which quiet hours never hold back.
Lydoh captures a complete appointment request, name, callback number, service, and preferred time, and notifies your team instantly by text. Your staff confirms with the caller, so you stay in full control of your schedule. No calendar integration or software change required.
Yes, from the web dashboard once texting is turned on. When staff close a request they can text the patient a confirmation, such as an appointment booked or a refill sent, and see the exact text first. Every text with a patient, and their replies, stays in one thread. Texts open with the practice name, never name a medication, test or visit reason, and go only to people who already contacted the practice. US carriers require business registration first, so you enter your business details in Settings and Lydoh submits them.
During setup, Lydoh imports your website content into a private knowledge base. You can add, edit, or remove anything from your dashboard. Lydoh only answers from your approved content, it never invents details.
